HISTORY

 

The Change: - Ren was raised knowing werewolves were real. Her father was one and if she was lucky, she might become one too. She changed when she was seventeen, nearly killing her brother Lark in the process. The change was violent, painful and awful but instantly her position in society changed; in one horrible afternoon Ren went from being a mouthy kinfolk to an exciting young warrior full of promise. This gave her a purpose in life - something that made her worthwhile. Ren considers this the 'start' of her life. 

Rage Across the Atlantic: - Once she passed her Rite of Initiation, Ren was sent to America to go an lend strength to a sept of Garou in America. Ren had never been without her family for more than a day so at eighteen, she experienced harsh culture shock when thrown in with a group of other young werewolves and told to make a pack with them. They were all from different countries, tribes and species. She immediately stepped into the role of alpha, determined to seize her destiny of outstripping the accomplishments of her father. 

Johan: - Less than a year after joining the sept, Ren's best friend and packmate Johan was slain in combat with a Black Spiral Dancer. Johan had been like another brother to her since the first day they met. After this, Ren changes the pack's name to 'Never Say Die' in honour of him and vowed to destroy every single BSD that she came across. This was the first painful realisation for Ren that friends can and will die in the fight against the apocalypse. This redoubled her efforts to protect her pack from danger - often leading her to throwing herself into danger's way to protect them. 

Alba Jr: - For many years, Ren resisted the call for her to settle down and take a mate. Despite herself, she took a mate at 27, but they maintained an open relationship on both sides (with middling success). She eventually fell pregnant and eventually gave birth to their first daughter Alba. Becoming a mother has changed her as nothing else has. She is determined that Alba won't grow up into a world where she has to fight as Ren has, even if that costs Ren her life. Motherhood has opened a world of empathy and emotional intelligence that she simply didn't have before.

ABILITIES

 

Shapeshifting

Ren has five distinct werewolf forms that she can shift into. Transformation between forms is painful (although she's used to that now) and requires a 'halfway' transformation if 'skipping' between forms. This can be done instantly if fuelled by rage, but elsewise, she is most comfortable and confident in Homid.

Homid (Human Form) - her 'breed' form, Ren is 6t 3" and would pass for a physically capable woman even in this shape.

Glabro (Wolfman Form) - larger and more powerful than human form, but undeniably inhuman thanks to the hair, strength and additional muscles that power this form. Does come with the disadvantage of looking distinctly unhuman

Crinos (War Form) - the most 'traditional' werewolf. A bipedal monster of 8ft tall. Claws, fangs and enhanced healing factor. Crinos can provoke a panic state called delirium in humans from Ren's world, a natural response to having been hunted by werewolves many centuries ago. 

Hispo (Dire Wolf Form) - A hulking beast of wolf. Teeth and fangs are more predominant. 

Lupus (Wolf Form) - Ren takes the shape of a large black wolf with glossy fur and bright yellow eyes. On her right forearm three bands matching her rank tattoos can be seen. This is the form most often used for tracking, running and hunting. Ren's purebreed of two is most evident in this form as she is a model Fianna. 

Gifted by Gaia

Ren is the recipient of many gifts from Gaia that allow her to do things that ordinary humans couldn't. Some are limited by gnosis - I've made these clear as Ren will have limited access to these in Rubilykskoye. A full list of her Gifts can be found here.

Physically, Ren is a supernatural warrior know as an Ahroun. She is extremely strong, durable and dextrous. She can take a fatal hit and get back up again thanks to the rage that fuels her. This makes her far more difficult to kill than your average person. It does, however, make her susceptible to falling into a frenzy and tearing people apart if she doesn't have control over herself. Thankfully she has an extremely honed self-control.

An strange amalgamation of the two aspects that Ren devotes herself to, the Wolvenstag is a beast forged in primal instinct. The only part that resembles Ren herself is the thick Celtic knotwork that is burned into the fur and horns of the wolvenstag. It is a 8 foot tall beast with two humanesque front arms with long claws, two stags hooves and the back-end of a wolf. It had a wide rack of antlers that can be used to pin her prey while the more wolfeque mouth devours them. The fur is midnight black and glossy and its eyes shine with a red unnatural light. 

POWER_LIST

HOSPITALITY | The Wolvenstag licks, spits or marks its prey with other bodily fluids. The victim experiences an intense intoxication, leaving them seeing ghosts, spirits and otherworldly creatures. 
GENEROSITY | To those claimed as mate, pack or kin, the Wolvenstag offers clemency. It sets its gaze to them and hypnotises them to see it's host, Ren, rather than the monstrosity before them, enacting a form of delirium.

BRAVERY |  The Wolvenstag will fight until it is entirely destroyed, regardless of the health of Ren. It heals injuries and gets back up unless struck by silver or magic. 

behavior

It takes out its wrath on developed areas and elements of human civilisation - eviscerating any who stand in its way with horns, teeth or claws. It will occasionally steal prey and hoard them away in a den for mating. Its behaviour is entirely bestial, focused on destroying those who stand in its way or mating with those it feels will produce strong offspring.
